THE BRANDS WE'RE PRESERVING
While the complete archive remains private, Hood Box Office
maintains a curated selection of public highlights from across
the network — Smack DVD, Cocaine City, The Come Up, Jordan
Tower Films, Hip Hop Beef, and more. These selections are
available to view through the Hood Box Office network.

Why WE'RE BUILDING THIS
From 2000-2010, an underground DVD movement documented
the streets, hip hop, and Black culture in ways mainstream
media never could. Smack. Come Up. Cocaine City. Jordan Tower.
Raw Report. These weren't just DVDs — they were the culture's
original eyes and ears.
Most of this content has disappeared from the internet.
Worldstar deleted it. YouTube took it down. The original
operators moved on.
Hood Box Office, in partnership with the Wendy Black
Foundation, is preserving the entire era. Every brand.
Every interview. Every moment.
This is cultural preservation. This is street history.
This is the archive.
They built the lab. We built the museum.”
